God has blessed Pastor Gamble with gifts of exhortation, teaching, and administrative skills to support his ministry. He has been called upon to teach several Lay Speaking Basic and Advanced Courses in the Pikes Peak Sub-district. He has also served on various legislative committees at the Annual Conference, and currently serves as a board member/Secretary of the UMC Foundation for the Rocky Mountain Conference.
As a visible member of the Colorado Springs Community, Pastor Gamble currently serves as a member of the board for the Area Agency on Aging, Southern Colorado Black Roundtable (an advisory group to Governor Hickenlooper), El Pomar Black Advisory Council, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Chairman of the Colorado Springs Black Leadership Forum, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
As a confession of faith, Rev. Gamble believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he is an inextricable part of the triune God that he serves, that the trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) acts in concert as one, that Jesus Christ is the anointed of God, to manifest the love of God to mankind, and that he is the “Word”, that became flesh that was crucified in atonement for fallen humanity, that he was buried and resurrected from the dead to have power over sin and evil, and to glorify God, and that through belief in him he will be reconciled to the Creator that loves and desires oneness with him.
Pastor Gamble was appointed to his present pastorate on July 1, 2009.
